Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Focus on American Roots, Limit Royal Influence for Their Children

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are raising their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with minimal exposure to royal traditions, emphasizing a more typical American upbringing. Despite their royal heritage, the couple is reportedly hands-on in parenting, with a focus on normalcy for their kids.

According to a recent report, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex prioritize time with their children, personally handling school drop-offs and pick-ups. A close family friend told Us Weekly that Harry and Meghan are active and present in their kids' daily lives, adding that the children are well-mannered and happy.

“Archie is sweet, curious, and playful, and Lili is vibrant and happy,” the source shared.

This approach contrasts with concerns raised by royal commentator Hugo Vickers, who expressed disappointment that Archie and Lilibet are growing up detached from their British royal legacy. He noted that the children might later realize they missed out on experiences shared by their royal cousins in the UK.
