Prince Harry is stepping back into the spotlight and reminding the public of his former self, according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams.
In a recent interview with MailOnline, Fitzwilliams highlighted how Harry’s solo appearances, including a heartfelt speech at the WellChild Awards, reflect the prince’s natural charisma. “He interacted wonderfully with the children and parents, reminding many of the Prince who once played such a significant role in national life,” Fitzwilliams shared.
The expert emphasized that Harry's work with WellChild, the Invictus Games, and Sentebale reflects his deep connection to charitable causes, comparing his caring nature to that of his mother, Princess Diana. Fitzwilliams noted that recent public appearances show Harry at his most genuine, with “echoes” of the prince’s earlier years.
While the recent absence of controversial interviews has reduced tension, Fitzwilliams added that the royal family remains cautious about potential future media revelations from the Sussexes. Harry’s upcoming solo trip to South Africa and Lesotho also draws attention, reminding many of his fondness for Africa, a passion dating back to his gap year in 2004.
