According to Newsweek, the monarch has recorded his lowest net approval rating since ascending the throne over two years ago. The latest YouGov poll shows that while 59% of Britons support King Charles, 34% view him negatively, bringing his net approval rating down to +25—a drop from +33 in December.
A statement from the polling firm noted, "While this net favourability score of plus 25 is noticeably better than any leading politician, it is down from plus 33 in December and is Charles’s lowest rating with YouGov since he became King."
Adding to the intrigue, Closer has reported that Prince Harry secretly met with Kate Middleton during her private getaway with Prince William and their children on the Caribbean island of Mustique over the half-term holidays.
