Insiders claim Harry viewed Travolta as a trusted confidant. The two reportedly formed a genuine connection during a lunch at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills, where they discussed everything from flying and fatherhood to the pressures of public life.

Travolta even presented Prince Harry with the “Living Legend of Aviation” award in early 2023 — a move that sparked criticism due to Harry’s limited aviation credentials compared to past honorees like Neil Armstrong. Nonetheless, their friendship seemed solid at the time.
