Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly taken a significant step toward repairing their relationship with King Charles as concerns rise about the future of their royal titles. According to The Examiner, the couple is feeling a sense of “panic” after King Charles moved to strip Prince Andrew of his remaining titles — a decision that has sparked fears that a similar action could eventually be taken against them.
Sources claim that once Prince William ascends the throne, there would be little standing in the way of the new King taking what insiders are calling a “nuclear option” against Harry and Meghan, especially since he allegedly supported similar measures against Andrew.
A royal insider told the outlet that Harry has been making repeated attempts to ease tensions with his brother: “He’s been chipping away at William for months, sending olive branches and hoping he’ll agree to talks that could lead to some kind of truce.”
Amid these reports, Meghan and Harry’s team recently asked Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian to remove Instagram photos that showed the Duke and Duchess attending Kris’s star-studded 70th birthday celebration. Royal commentator Rob Shuter claims Kim has since distanced herself from Meghan after what insiders described as a “total vibe clash” at the Bond-themed party — the same event where photos featuring Harry and Meghan were mysteriously deleted shortly after being posted.
According to sources close to the Kardashians, “Kim was furious when Meghan’s team requested that all photos of her with Harry be scrubbed from the internet.”
Meanwhile, a source told Page Six that Harry and Meghan wanted to avoid causing friction with the royal family by publicly showcasing their ties to the Kardashians. As the insider put it, “They don’t want to upset the royal family while they’re trying to reconcile.”
