Earl Charles Spencer, the brother of the late Princess Diana and uncle to Prince William and Prince Harry, has shared a personal update with his followers, offering a glimpse into his life following major changes over the past year.
The 61-year-old recently posted a series of photographs
on Instagram from a trip to Oslo, Norway, where he was joined by his partner,
Dr Cat Jarman. The images captured moments from their visit to the Norwegian
capital, including a stop at the Vigeland Sculpture Park, where the couple
appeared relaxed and affectionate.
In his caption, Earl Spencer
reflected on the significance of the trip, describing it as a “double
anniversary.” He noted that it marked both a special occasion with his partner
and the completion of his first year without alcohol, adding that he has
“never felt better.”
Earl Spencer and Dr Cat Jarman reportedly met in 2021 during an
archaeological excavation at Althorp House, the Spencer family estate in
Northamptonshire. The pair have been romantically linked for around two
years.
The update comes following a difficult personal period for
Earl Spencer, who announced his separation from Karen Spencer in June 2024.
Their divorce was finalised in December 2025.
Spencer’s recent post
suggests a fresh chapter in his personal life, as he continues to share
occasional insights with followers while maintaining a relatively private
public profile compared to other members of the royal extended family.
